Boyd's Ruger American AICS Bottom Metal
I just listened to your podcast episode where you talked about the Boyd's bottom metal for the Ruger American rifles. I felt like everyone missed the point of these and just wanted to share my take. The newer Ruger American rifles come already equipped to use the AI style magazines. I think I am the exact target market for these as I have one of the older model Ruger American Predator models, in a Boyd's AT-One stock, using Ruger's terrible rotary magazines. I was actually considering selling that rifle to buy one of the newer models because of how little luck I had with the rotary mags. This new bottom metal is a god send as I can buy this now and switch mags instead of selling what I have, buying a new gun, and then buying a new stock as well.
Just wanted to let you guys know of another use case for this. It's basically a fix for the older models with the terrible rotary mags.
Cody G. and his episode 281 play by play
On this weeks episode of the Gun & Gear review podcast:
Tony Simon he dead from Scanning a cat what ever that means.
Zane Mungillo opts for reduced recoil pistol loads (accepts 22lr as his favorite caliber) for micro rifles.
Sean Fisher is still M.I.A from probably from Zane’s boating accident. Or clandestine operations behind the NJ front lines.
Rob Acutely has a speaking part, and good inside on pistol comps.
Chad Wallace continues to broadcast the signal to the wasteland about his shooting match and how amazing his new cube comp is for its combat multiplier effect. (After his bounce rolled of a D20)
TJ’s where abouts still unknown maybe some where in shorts with an ankle holster.
Ryan Cross who? I think he still owes me a benchmade 940.
Oh ya and some thing about another not a glock Glock and 1911 2 world wars thing.
