Greetings Guys

So glad Jeff is back, much better when you both are there.

So Greg, I have to say I still love the show, but every time you pimp the Alaska Off-road  Warriors I lose a little respect for you. That show is so cheesy and the white trash characters are so annoying. As you mentioned on show 26, the brothers are tweekers.  Butch in war wagon  is a drama queen, and completely ridiculous. Super Jeep is some kind of Frankenstein junk rig. I really think the show is making off-roaders look bad and the cast is just too obnoxious to watch.

I realize Off-roading needs any coverage we can get, but that show is just over the top dumb.

Just my 2 cents.  Other than that keep up the great show.

Clint

I started listening to FRN podcasts  in February. The name  Tactical Paradise  appealed to my sense of humor and  quickly became my favorite FRN podcast. I knew the Off Road Podcast would be great and  you haven't let me down. (I really like the hiking/backpacking stories, too)

I have a TJ Rubicon and I'm considering taking a LCOG approach to achieve a little extra clearance (fender modifications to run 35" tires and a tummy tuck). From an engineering standpoint I like the idea of maintaining stock suspension geometry but I feel inclined to add longer springs, etc. to also increase wheel travel. I would like to hear y'all's thoughts on this.  I'm in Tennessee and don't plan on doing any extreme rock crawling, just a little extra clearance for these deep mud holes while maintaining a road friendly manner that anyone could handle.

Also, I'm looking for an optic for my AR-15. If I do this I could possibly carry my ACOG in my LCOG haha.  Clint

I need your advice to pick out a new set of tires for my FJ. I commute and hunt on a lease with sandy/loamy top soil w/red clay underneath. Its a 4x4. I want to try to pick a tire with more off-road capabilities than highway.

Hi Greg,

See the story about the copter crash on the Rubicon yet? Sounds like they all survived  with moderate injuries, 2 walked away.

Helicopter down on Rubicon Trail

Good episode on wheels, I could probably be talked into leaving an Itunes comment if you could find me a set of AEV Pintlers in the Silver finish. The trick here is I want the 5 x 4.5 for an LJ, not the 5 x 5 they are making now in the JK pattern.

So far so good on the Offroad podcast. You have a new JK and your brother a new Dodge, damn ballers.......podcasting must be pretty lucrative.  Larry
