Welcome to the Off Road Podcast. Today we will be exploring the off road world-- whether you like crawling up rock ledges or enjoy exploring the backroads with your family. Stay with us to find out events in your area, off road news, and topics to interest every guy & girl who craves the outdoors as seen through the windshield. I am your host Ben here with my co-hosts Jeremy, Aaron, Steve and our guest Scott. How’s everyone doing?
Anyone done anything exciting?
Ben - Preparing for snow camping while enjoying snowpocalypse 1 through 3. Got to use my winch to recover a minivan, an F150 deep in a ditch, and a Scion XB toaster.
Jeremy - Should have been preparing for the podcast snow trip, but went wheeling during the snowpocalypse instead.
Aaron - Prepping for our podcast snow camping trip. Pulled apart all of my recovery gear and put it back together. Dropped out 3 bow shackles for 3 synthetic shackles. Can’t find some of my stuff since moving. Flew a nice drone and shot some footage for the 1st time.
Steve - Still working on Winch bumper, almost finished. Just a bit more welding, a lot of grinding, and then some primer and raptor liner. Need to figure out how to make the best use of my Last US Bag Co. bags.
Scott - Spent some time with Nissan in Morocco.

How did you get started offroading?
What type of offroading do you like to do?
What was your first off-road rig?
What is your current off-road rig?
Do you have a dream rig?
Any embarrassing moments on the trail?
You run a online forum. Can you tell our listeners what it is about and how people use it?
Why do you think your forum is still growing while on a whole people are turning away from them?
You also run a magazine. Tells up a little about it and it’s content.
When I got my first issue of Overland Journal in the mail (Gear 2014) I read it all on one sitting. My heart raced as I devoured the different gear tests, the article of a British female solo riding a motorcycle through Iran, and the Expeditions 7 team as they completed the circumnavigation of the northern hemisphere. What direction do you have your magazine pointed and how do you come up with content?
What was your inspiration for starting the businesses you run and exploring the world as you do?
You mentioned offroading is done for sport, what is your definition of Overlanding?
Are you concerned with how commercialized overlanding has become?
What was your favorite trip to go on?
What is it like to live abroad?
Do you have a favorite place to travel?
Is there anywhere you haven’t been but would like to go?
Do you have any fears with travel?
Have you been part of an expedition or trip and had it go really wrong?
Your Expeditions 7 adventure was amazing. How hard is it to plan for something like that?
Are you a paper maps guy or do you geek out on navigation apps?
What technology have you seen advance the most since you started exploring?
Do you have a favorite thing to geek out on?
What is your preferred sleeping setup when off road?
Have you competed in any sort of motorsports?
Have you considered participating in a Gambler 500 event?
What is the worst “off road” vehicle you have ever traveled in?
What is the best and worst modification that you have seen done to an off-road vehicle?
What are you currently working on?
Where can we find you?
