Off Road Podcast Episode 159 - Back to basics - How to pick your gear

Welcome to the Off Road Podcast. I'm your host, Ben. Today we will be exploring the off road world-- whether you like crawling up rock ledges or enjoy exploring the backroads with your family. Stay with us to find out events in your area, off road news, and topics to interest every guy & girl who craves the outdoors as seen through the windshield. I am here with my co-host Steve, Aaron, and Joe. How’s everyone doing tonight?

Anyone done anything exciting?

  • Steve - Doing a lot of hunting, got to cruise the Idaho backcountry in a toyota FZJ 80, it was a lot of fun, that little straight 6 is pretty capable motor.

  • Aaron - Lots of off roading in the Soviet Union recently in a variety of com. bloc vehicles.  Yes, I’ve been having fun with Spintires Mud runner.  My LMTV just landed from the east coast.  My buddy already got it running and sent me a video of it. I’m scheduled to take it on a big snow run in Jan but hope for something sooner.

  • Ben -.Working on the scooter project figuring out what's been done to it upgrade wise broke the starter so had to order a new one.

  • Joe - Running electrical in the garage so I can work on my vehicles.
