Welcome to the Off Road Podcast. I'm your host, Ben. Today we will be exploring the off road world-- whether you like crawling up rock ledges or enjoy exploring the backroads with your family. Stay with us to find out events in your area, off road news, and topics to interest every guy & girl who craves the outdoors as seen through the windshield. I am here with my co-hosts Aaron and Steve. How are you guys doing tonight?
Anyone done anything exciting?
Aaron - Fixed some wiring on the LED marker lights in my ARB bumper. Finally installed my 225w LED bumper lights. Got most of the wiring done for the aux. lights on #thestinkbug. Making plans to be camping this weekend.
Steve - Worked on the suburban had to replace rear main seal and replaced exhaust manifold.
Ben - bought some upgrades for my glock 42, worked a lot and and got a slide for a 1911. Bought some shirts and a cleaning mat along with the 4x4 patch. I believe the gear oil I put in was the wrong stuff so this time it should work.
As we mentioned last week, we’ve got a new sponsor. You heard Jeep Joe on our show 3 weeks ago and again last week. He works for a Jeep dealership in Minnesota and convinced his boss to sponsor our podcast with some of their advertising dollars.
Park Chrysler Jeep is the Wrangler destination in Minnesota. They’re the only AEV dealer within 500 miles. Park not only sells Wranglers, they out fit and accessorize them tailored to your individual needs & wishes. Park’s service department has specialized technicians that would love to build your dream. Their parts department carries more inventory than any other dealer in the mid-west. Their customer experience managers have as much as 20 years of experience up fitting & accessorizing Wranglers. Park also hosts several off road customer events. Jeep isn’t just a passion for them, it’s a way of life. Should you not be close to their location in the Minneapolis suburbs, they can ship you parts or an entire vehicle. Don’t be bashful, give the guys that enjoy Jeeps as much as you do a call. It’s a Jeep thing and they understand. Also, mention that you’re a listener of the Off Road Podcast and get $250 off your next vehicle, whether it’s a Jeep or not. It’s not a ton but that could be used for some upgrade parts.
