Nic from Weaponcraft and Jeff from Armed Dynamics stop by to talk about why people should get firearms training. RWD9MMhandgun

HGN: Welcome to Practically Tactical Episode 26 brought to you by the Firearms Radio Network, please visit to find out more information! Tonight we are joined by teenagers with attitude, Sam from Range Time, Nic from Weaponcraft, and Jeff from Armed Dynamics. For more information on the show, to find links to our guests, gear and guns we discuss, please visit Practically Tactical Podcast hits iTunes every Sunday at Noon CST, so be sure to click on that subscribe button in iTunes! The theme for this weeks episode is Power Rangers! It’s Morphin time!

WA: Our first special guest of the night is Sam from Range Time ...who actually can’t  join us tonight as he was captured by the evil lord zedd and has been turned into a sex slave. Jeff and Nic will be rescuing him later in the show as Sam said no rush and to take their time so we’re just gonna go on without him.

HGN: Tonight we’re also joined by Nic from Weaponcraft...Nic is the red ranger. He was selected because he is leader of the Power Rangers. So, he is pretty much a cliche dick to everyone and thinks he is always right even though he never bring his AR15 with him cause everyone knows that the 5.56 is the only round that penetrates dinosaurs.  Don’t be this guy.

Nic: Thanks for having me (or whatever you want to say there). We will prompt for websites, facebook, places where people can find you online.

WA: And last, but definitely not least, we are joined by Jeff from Armed Dynamics. Jeff is the blue ranger. He was selected because he is wise, patient, and good at math. Yeah, that is why...

Jeff: Thanks for having me (or whatever you want to say there). We will prompt for websites, facebook, places where people can find you online.

HGN: Thanks for joining us this week guys. For all of our listeners out there, this weeks show we will be talking about Forest City Tactical’s Sheepdog IWB holster, HiperFire HiperTouch 24C and 24 3Gun Trigger, sirt

WA: You can watch our show LIVE on Wednesday nights at 7PM CST by searching Practically Tactical on YouTube or listen to new episodes on iTunes every sunday at noon CST.

HGN: As usual, your co-hosts for this evening are myself and Matt. I am Nick the Green Ranger. Sam wanted to be the green ranger...but since he got captured by the evil Lord Zedd I am going to be taking his place of the green ranger for the night.

WA: Well guys I’m Matt from the WalkerArmory and I’m your other co-host for Practically Tactical and I’m the black power ranger tonight. I was chosen by Zordon to defend the earth with my Mastadon Dinozord.

WA’s Segment - Morphin Time

Alright guys let’s kick off the show with our first segment of the night, it’s Morphin Time! Let’s get to know our special guests for tonight a little bit...

  • SAM

    • Again...we’re saddened by the fact that Sam was captured by the Evil Lord Zedd and couldn’t make it on tonight...but a quick recap on him since I’m sure he’ll be on again in the future...He’s a firearms instructor with Range Time and a former clarinet player in the Marine Marching Band.

On to the real guests for tonight...

  • NIC

    • Nic….we’ve had you on before. You were a former Marine deployed overseas with the Fast Team, then you got out of the military and started instructing with Weaponcraft in Main and have an obvious obsession with AR rifles and dinosaurs. Anything else I missed?

  • JEFF

    • Jeff you’ve actually been on our show twice this’ll be your third time on our show as a repeat offender. But...basically you grew up around firearms, you’re a traditional martial artist and a student of the gun, started doing serious training and are now the founder/owner of Armed Dynamics in Philadelphia. Did I miss anything in there?

Segment - Practically Awesome Video of the Week -

HGN: This segment in our show where we’re going to pick the best and and most Practically Awesome video that we saw on YouTube this week. This is our video of the week that we think is awesome and you that guys need to check out! You can find the video link in our show notes at

WA: This weeks Practically Awesome video pick is “3MR Trigger Tac-Con Media Event with Hank Strange” There’s a lot of controversy out there about the new 3MR Tac-Con triggers and whether or not they serve a purpose or if it’s all just a big expensive gimmick. Recently Tac-Con flew up a bunch of media guys including Hank Strange, Shawn from WeLikeShooting, Jason from Easy Bake Gun Club, and Dan from GunsSaveLives to go spend some serious time on the range getting acquainted with the new trigger system. What do you guys think of the Tac-Con 3MR? I know Sam from Range Time REALLY likes this trigger. Go find the video on YouTube and leave them a comment and make sure and tell that that Practically Tactical sent you!

This is the part of the show where it’s time to start wrapping up another episode of Practically Tactical.  Nic and Jeff, thank you so much for coming onto our show this week. So let’s take some time now to discuss what we have coming up with each of us in the near future and where you can find us on the mysterious interwebs...

WA: Well everyone, I run a gun YouTube channel as WalkerArmory as well as a Facebook page and all of the other tweeter instagram social media sites so be sure to go check those out..we’re always working on stuff and adding new videos and posts over there. I just released this past week a review of the Hiperfire Hipertouch 24C so make sure and go watch that video and tell me what you think. I’ve still got a TON of videos and reviews still to go out and shoot. So make sure and subscribe to me on YouTube and all of the other social media sites at WalkerArmory to stay up to date with us. HGN What about you?

HGN: Well, I was down at the NRA Annual Meetings this past weekend and filmed a few videos. I posted up a video on Omega Armory’s Featherlight 4.5. It is a milspec AR15 that weighs 4.5 pounds. I also posted up an interview with John from AAC where we talk about the .300 blackout. And lastly, I post up an interview with Ryan from TheGunBox. A really cool quick access box what offers multiple ways of accessing its contents. They were so cool they actually gave us a coupon code to give out. If you goto and use promocode “tactical5”, you get 5% off! So, checkout the videos that are posted! That will be the extent of videos I will be posting for a while as my ankle needs to heal, so just checkout our facebook page where we will be posting tons of gear pictures that I have currently to test.

HGN: A great podcast I’d recommend to you guys this week is the AR15 podcast. They’ve got a great show over there talking about all things that are AR15. This past week they released episode 71 with an interview with the CEO of SilencerCo. Joshua Waldren. Go listen to the show where the host Reed Snyder talks with SilencerCo about the new Saker 7.62 suppressor. You guys can find more out about the AR15 podcast and episode 71 at

WA: The other podcast that I want to mention to you guys on the Firearms Radio Network is the Power Factor Show. The Power Factor Show is a show that is catered towards practical pistol shooters, and being a competitive shooter myself I really enjoy a lot of the stuff these guys put out. This week they released a podcast video episode 175 where Doug takes you through a walk through of the stages he shot at the 2014 USPSA Multi-Gun Nationals. On their website they’ve got a video of him shooting the stages and commentating what he’s doing. The match looked like a ton of fun. Go check them out at
