So let’s shake it (WA: And bake it)

Our first special guest of the evening is Nicholas Smith, otherwise known as the Magic Man. Now you see him, now you dont. Nic is a firearms instructor with Weaponcraft who recently announced a partnership with FourGuysGuns. Nic is also a semi-professional racecar driver and cougar wrestler. He wakes up every morning and pisses excellence. Thanks for coming on Nic!

WA: Thanks for coming on tonight Nic...should be an awesome show! We are also joined by our jazz music loving formula un race car driver, Sam from Range Time and as it stands now he is sitting on the pole, which is a statement of fact. Sam is a firearms instructor with RangeTime, loves really thin pancakes, and his lifelong dream is to retire to Stockholm and develop a currency for dogs and cats to use. We’re really excited to get you back on again Sam...just a quick question though...are your flip up sights out of reach?

HGN: Thanks for joining us this week. For all of our listeners out there, this weeks show we will be talking about  Switchback from Thrym and Costa Ludus, UpLULA loader,  Elzetta ZFH1500B AR15 Tactical Flashlight Holder, and Surefire EB1 backup flashlight.

WA: For the new listeners who don’t know, Practically Tactical is a show about guns, gear, and shooting, where each week we feature a special guest or two and sometimes a guest co-host. You can catch our show LIVE on Wednesday nights at 7PM CST. Just search Practically Tactical on YouTube to find us.

HGN: As usual, your co-hosts for this evening are myself and Matt. There is something I want to get off my chest. It’s about that summer, when you went away to community college. I got an offer to do Playgirl Magazine, and I did it. I did a full spread for Playgirl Magazine. I mean spread man...it was weird...I mean you probably didn’t hear about it because I went under the name of Mike Honcho...but I just wanted you to know that...that I spread my buttcheeks as Mike Honcho...

WA:  Well..thanks for the honesty...anyways I am really looking forward to becoming a professional shooter with Nic’s help tonight...I’m putting a lot of eggs into that basket. If that doesn’t work out, i am thinking about just getting a gun and dealing crack. ya know, Being a crack dealer but not a mean crack dealer, but like a nice one. Just kinda friendly, like, hey, what’s up guys, you want some crack?

HGN: Someone didn’t love you enough growing up did they Matt...

WA’s Segment - Shake and Bake

We’re going to start off our first segment of the show tonight with a little bit of shake (HGN: and bake). In this segment we will get to know a little bit about our guests. As Nic as always says, it’s the fastest who get paid, and it’s the fastest who get laid...and trust me...Nic is faster than Ricky Bobby with a live cougar in the backseat.

  • Nick can you tell us about your background….

  • How did you get into firearms?
  • How did you end up in the military?

  • What did you do in the military?
  • What made you decide to become a firearms instructor?

Sam we’ve had you on the show a couple of times before, but can you give us just a brief bit about your background and how you got into firearms?

  • How did you get involved with Cory and Erika?

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

HGN’s Segment - Pissing Excellence

HGN’s Segment: Live Audience Questions -

Before we start our first Q&A segment of the show, I am pleased to announce Practically Tactical has our first sponsor! That is right, someone is paying to be advertised on our show. We would like to thank our sponsor Julio’s Thongs for Men...nothing but the best hammocks for your bananas. RangeTime is getting a few pairs of these to do some field testing in...Sam, when will RangeTime be releasing the review on the tactical line of thongs by Julios? Any initial thoughts?

In this segment we will be fielding questions from our Live YouTube audience. Want to get your questions answered live? Visit practacpodcast.com for upcoming episodes and times! Also, feel free to email matt@firearmsradio.tv with your question!

WA’s Segment: Who’s gun line is it anyways?

PracTac Rapid Fire - Ep 21 Nic and Sam Cummins

Normally this is the part of the show where we have our segment Rapid Fire...however, we’re expanding this segment into THREE different games now. The games will be: the classic Rapid Fire, and then we’re also adding Double Tap, and Gun Libs...and the name for our new gun game segment will now be called, Who’s Gun Line is it Anyways...where the questions are made up and the points don’t matter.

So for our first game of the night we’re going to play, RAPID FIRE. The rules of this segment are simple: I will ask you a series of questions and you answer yes or no..there are no explanations allowed...simply a yes or no. HandgunNewbie is going to be tallying up points and will announce the winner at the end of the segment based on your answers. Here we go. Sam are you ready?

Sam:

Do you have flip-up sights on your AR?

Do you like pistol caliber AR’s?

If the name of a beer has the word “light” in it, is it worthy for an operator like yourself to drink?

Is a highpoint better than a sigma?

Is a high point better than a knife?

Does Mayflower make the best chestrigs?

Can you beat Cory in an arm wrestling contest?

Nic:

Is it true that marines kiss and never tell?

Is 9mm better than .40S&W

Will Lou from FGG start crying before Whitey during your training this weekend?

Does surefire make the best overall muzzlebrakes?

Were you a secret squirrel?

If you hear the word tactical one more time, are you going to punch the person closest to you?

Is it true you will call Whitey a “Tactical Muffintop” more than 7 times this weekend?

Double Tap:

Alright let’s move on to the next segment called Double Tap. This game is a little bit different...instead of having a question that is answered with a YES or NO, you will work together to double tap these questions with the first answer that pops in your head one right after the other. You are still not allowed to explain...just the first answer that comes to mind...so both of you will be answering these questions one after the other...again HandgunNewbie will be awarding you points based off of your answers and keeping track of your score. Are you ready?

What is your favorite revolver?

What is your favorite bolt action rifle?

What is your favorite pump shotgun?

What is your favorite red dot non-magnified optic?

What is your favorite rifle caliber?

What is the best CLP?

Favorite flavor of crepes?

If you could build an AR in any caliber other than 5.56, what caliber would it be?

What is your most wanted revolver to shoot that you haven’t yet?

What is your most wanted submachine gun to shoot that you haven’t yet?

Worst firearm a student has brought to your class?

GunLibs:

Alright guys it’s time for our final game segment for the night, GunLibs...instead of having Sam or Nic be the winner of this game...it’s our turn for a little fun...I reward them no points, and God have mercy on their souls. This is a new game segment that we just made up, and that we are going to be playing from now on starting this week...

Remember back in the day when you used to fill out little mad libs books asking for words and nouns? Well, given who our guests are tonight we made it a little easier for them, and a little more fun for us. Lets be honest, most of these gun guys don’t know what an adjective is...And Sam if I ask for a preposition it doesn’t mean I’m hitting on you.

So for this segment. I will be asking you each for one answer to fill in the blank for your mad gun libs that we have written for you this week...

1: Favorite Store - Wawa

2: Mythical Creature - Dragon

3: type of music - punk

4: name something in a park - swings

5: worst Gun ever - sigma

6: favorite color - multicam

7: Number- 69

8: body part - pe**s

9: celebrity - cameran diaz

10: gift you would give to your significant other on valentines day - pearl necklace

11: best quality in a woman - loyalty

Sam and Nic were exiting the (1) store  when suddenly an evil (2) appeared from no-where. Sam and Nic knew that this situations wasn’t going to end well. They both thought back to their time training with the elite marine (3) dance team and used their skills to seek cover behind a (4) and un-holstered their (5) from concealment under their matching (6) turtleneck sweaters. They knew this had to end quickly as they didn’t want to get their favorite shirts dirty. So on the count of (7), they exited from behind the (4) and both started dual wielding their (5). They killed (2) in a flurry of bullets with a critical strike to the (8) and they saved (9), who in turn rewarded them with (10). The day was saved and all was good thanks to Sam and Nic’s (11)

So let’s discuss some gear that we got this week or saw that impressed us...or didn’t if the case may be...

I want to point everyone to episode 36 of their show as they had a really cool show about Forgotten firearms in history! The show featured Ian McCollum of forgottenweapons.com.
