Week in Review:
-Saiga/Tromix 410 shotgun converted to .444 Marlin with drum mag! One buffalo bore load is a 270 grain bullet at 2,250 fps for 3,034 ft-lbs of energy. (Daniel wrote this in the comments section of the article: I'm still trying to remember who was attempting to convert a Vickers MG from .303 British to .458 Winchester Magnum. They were going to recycle cloth belts that had become too stretched to reliably hold the .303 cartridge.)
Weerd: Have another episode of the Assorted Calibers Podcast, we also have a website and a libsyn account. For those listening live you’ll be hearing the first episode soon. For those who are listening to this show on the FRN, it may be already published.
Drink Segment: Blue Mai Tai.
I know I talked about this drink in another episode, and there are a million and one ways to make this drink. But I recently tried to remake it from my notes on my blog, and I wasn’t pleased with the results, so I’ve re-perfected it.
2oz White Rum
1oz Fresh lime Juice
0.75 oz Blue Curacao
0.5 oz Amaretto Liqueur
I also think bitters improve this drink in both color and flavor, I first used angostura bitters, but the Fee Brothers Chocolate Bitters is really a think of magic.
Main Topic: Easter(n) Bloc Handguns
-TT-33 or the M57 Yugo
-FEG Guns (PA-63, P9R)
