HGR 076 - SHOT Show 2015 Products, Rumors & Speculation

Hello and welcome to Handgun Radio! I’m your host Ryan Michad from the wilds of Central Maine, and this is your home for all the news, information and discussion in the handgunning world.

This week, I’m joined by TJ to discuss the various SHOT Show 2015 Products, Rumors & Speculation!

Brought to you by the Firearms Radio Network

Week in Review:

-Hope everyone had a fantastic holiday! I got a Desantis Nemesis for my Kahr CM9 for Christmas, as well as some gift cards to some sporting goods stores!

-I used one of my cards and picked up a Bushnell TRKR 125 Lumen flashlight for $20. It is a great little light that runs on one AA battery and uses high intensity CREE LED’s. I am very impressed with the light for the price.

TJ:

  • I recently tested out the See All Open Sight for the Firearms Insider, so look out for that review pretty soon.
  • I also received some Newbold Polymer targets in for review. They seem really cool, but I need to get out and test them.

Main Topic: SHOT Show 2015 Products, Rumors & Speculation

For this topic, we are mainly working off of pre-show reports as to what will be present there. We looked at the Guns, Holsters & Gear website to see the compiled list of guns that are either rumored to be introduced at SHOT or are in fact confirmed to be introduced. We will also have to discuss a few of the entries as they are sometimes vague as to what the gun will be.

Confirmed:

Dan Wesson Silverback 1911 in 10mm & .45 ACP -

Smith & Wesson M&P Ported Pistols -

Bersa BP-380CC -

Charter Arms Pitbull in .45 ACP -

Heizer Defense Pocket Sniper (.308) & Pocket AK (7.62x39mm) -

New Sig Sauer Pistols -

ERGO Delta Grip for Ruger LCR -

New frame options for the Beretta Pico .380 -

TJ's note: Why the heck isn't Ruger doing this?

Rumors:

Single Stack Glock 9mm -

Ruger Announcing New Striker Fired Pistol in the days before the SHOT Show -- LCPs?

  • SR Pro? (Grant Cunningham Edition)

S&W Shield Accessory - Not a lot of info on this one; supposedly makes the gun more shootable.

Wishlist Guns:

Single-Stack Glock in 10mm (or a re-engineered, thinner single stack 45 to compete with the XDs)

Ruger LCP in .22 LR
