Chaz the un-named trucker and host of the roadgunner podcast
Week in Review:
- Jake - 10 year anniversary, Excited about the AR15 podcast/video blog. Might switch the after show.
- Zack- My DD rifle will be here thursday, ordered an ACOG, sold Beretta and Browning I traded for. Put up 454 for sale.. 454 no fun to shoot. Sighted in .375 H&H, got my DD rifle upgrades in.
- Steve - firearm simulator training, very realistic, also had option to use tasers and oc spray for less-than-lethal situations, had to articulate why/why not we used whatever level of force we chose, good because it really makes you think; shot placement/reaction time etc. was placed on screen during recap, very interesting data (shooting through walls, desks etc.); thanks to last weeks episode, I have been researching reloading supplies, will probably try my hand at it after the new year when I finish school
- Chaz testing some new horizontal mag holders from magholder.com, testing pepper spray carrier from concealment solutions.

Mike Turner from Marcellus NY: Hey, I have been listening to your podcast for about a year now....and really enjoy it. I listen to all the gun related podcast, and yours is a bit different w/o all the politics, great entertainment! Anyway, when listening to a downloaded podcast on my BB today, I heard you say that a mic boom was needed for your new studio...so I ordered one for you...just wanted to show my support BTW....the sound quality is great in the new studio!!!!
Keep up the great show and representing all of us real "gun guys"
Clint Callies: Heard the review on the Red Dawn episode about the guy not liking the talk about religion. Religion and politics are the two hot button items it's always risky to talk about. But the first amendment gives you that right and if the listeners don't like it or agree they can alway turn down the volume until that topic is over. Free speech and defending one's own personal freedoms are the two things disappearing these days and its sad to hear how easily offended people get and how fast we apologize for speaking what is on our minds. Just food for thought.
Stuart M: Just wondering if either of you have shot DRT rounds. They are supposed to be awesome for self defense. instead of lead core they have a packed powder core. the biggest problem is the price. these would be expensive to shoot. but for self defense you dont really do much more than check to see how they run through your gun.
Thanks for the great show
Brian Gay: Thanks for the podcast. Love the content and ya'll do a great job. You have had a few negative comments about the God & Guns episode, but that is my favorite episode that you have put out. I like that you addressed the issues some christians have about self defense and if people don't want to hear it, they don't have to listen to that episode. No one is making them listen. I may be biased though since I am from the gun totin', bible thumpin' South. Keep up the great work!
Mark Hookom: I don't know what all the pissing and moaning is about on the Guns and God episode, I'm an atheist and while it wasn't my favorite episode I found it interesting and well worth listening to. As someone who does something gun related almost every day, most of the people I run into are Bible Thumping Homophobes, oops I mean God fearing, good, patriotic Americans.
