The Guys talk about clothing brands and options for the manly man. Welcome to Gun Guy Radio! the podcast that shines a positive light on the firearms lifestyle. I’m Your host Jake and this is Zack from Lone Wolf Distributors. This is your weekly dose of positive firearms talk, without the politics.
Week in Review:
- Jake- AR-15 Podcast, Gun Girl Podcast, Roundtable
- Zack - Getting ready for SHOT show, see me at booth# 20239 Jan 15-18, 2013
- Steve - went to quarterly firearms qual for primary/backup/shotgun; shot my co-worker’s Ruger LC9 and the trigger is WAY better than my Sig P290; not a fan of the safety, loaded chamber indicator or the magazine disconnect. Wilson Combat 870s don’t seem to be chambering (sometimes not ejecting properly either) properly with some shells so they were sent in for repair; lined up a great interview for 1st or 2nd week of January.
- Mike- I went to Ohio to visit my parents. We went to a new gun store over there to use their indoor range. Shot my Glock17 and my dads LCP. We also used his fathers .38 special with bird shot rounds.

Steve Cole - North Carolina: Just started listening a few weeks ago but became a loyal listener after the Gods and Guns episode! Praise the Lord for you guys and your testimony! Love all your gun podcasts (especially without the politics) but please, please, please don't require the dreaded Facebook for your communication/contests/promotions.
Most of my closest gun pals and other friends have ditched Facebook for a variety of reasons and no longer have active accounts. It's a cesspool of the worst human nature has to offer. We recently had a pastor (and his precious family) trashed in public by a few disgruntled church members on FB. Our pastor ultimately resigned and breaking our collective hearts. Other than Facebook, please keep up the good work and hopefully enter me in your giveaways via copy of this email! P.S. - Congrats on Illinois having their no-concealed carry law overturned in court today!
Shawn: Hey Guys, stumbled upon your podcast & just wanted to send you a quick note. I have been around guns since I was a kid when my dad sold guns in our basement. I never paid too much attention to the details of guns but just like going downstairs & grabbing some ammo & going in our backyard to have a little competition with my older brother (I won most of the time). I really enjoy shooting but not very mechanically inclined about taking care of & cleaning guns properly etc. Maybe you have some info on your website about it. Just want to encourage you guys to keep it up, I am starting from the beginning on the podcast so I think I'm on show 5 or so. Thanks & keep shooting.
Bryan Bolivar: I'm generally liking you show (newish listener) and AR-15 podcast but I am really getting kind of tired of you commenting and boasting about your standing on Itunes. I like what I like for the content, not based on how many other listeners like it too. It smacks of saying "look how great I am" and that gets real old real fast. I don't know, maybe I'll just try to fast forward through all that nonsense and get to the content which is actually decent. Oh, and on the same topic - "no politics" Okay, I get it. Stop telling me what you don't talk about on your show and tell about what you actually are going talk about. I want to know what you do, not what you don't do. :)
Justin Alessi: Got the charging handle, so fast! Dropped it in works great!!
Dan from CT:
Quick ? To Zack-regarding the coyote you dropped w/your AR-are they a nuisance & u just drop them or are they harvested? Just curious being a CT suburbanite & all.
Keep up the great work guys!
