Comedy Corner

A wife comes home late one night and quietly opens the door to her bedroom. From under the blanket, she sees four legs instead of just her husband’s two. She reaches for a baseball bat and starts hitting the blanket as hard as she can. Once she’s done, she goes to the kitchen to have a drink. As she enters, she sees her husband there, reading a magazine. He says, “Hi darling, your parents have come to visit us, so let them stay in our bedroom. Did you say hello?”

Bible Verse

6 Now I know that the Lord saves his anointed; he will answer him from his holy heaven

with the saving might of his right hand. 7 Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we trust in the name of the Lord our God. 8 They collapse and fall, but we rise and stand upright.

9 O Lord, save the king! May he answer us when we call.

Psalm 20:6-9

Stewart is the Founder and National President of Oath Keepers.  He was born in Fresno, CA and comes from a family of hard working migrant farm workers (of Mexican and Apache Indian decent) on his mother’s side, and hard working Midwest farmers, horsemen, and GM auto workers on his father’s side. Both sides of his family have a long tradition of military service. During WWII his Grandfather on his mother’s side was a B-17 ball turret belly gunner, and his Grandfather on his father’s side of the family served as an Army infantryman in the Battle of the Bulge. Nearly all of his uncles on both sides of the family served in the Army or Marine Corps during WWII, Korea, and Vietnam, and his father served in the Marine Corps.

Following the family tradition, Stewart joined the U.S. Army straight out of high school at age eighteen, attending Basic, AIT and Jump School at Ft. Benning, GA and then serving as a paratrooper (11B1P Airborne Infantry) stationed first at Ft. Bragg, NC and then at Ft. Lewis, WA, where he served in a long range Airborne scout company for the 9th Infantry Division (Co. E 60th Infantry, 9th ID Scouts (Airborne) until disabled in a rough terrain parachuting accident during a night jump (jump #36!).    The unit was thereafter re-designated as E Co. (LRSC) 109th MI Bn. NRA Armed Citizen
FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — Police believe a Fort Bragg soldier shot and killed a man attacking his wife Tuesday evening, according to WTVD.

The shooting happened just before 10 p.m. at a home in Fayetteville. The suspect was pronounced dead at the scene. The wife was reportedly outside smoking a cigarette when an unknown man approached her, pulled a gun and forced her inside the apartment. The husband, who was upstairs, heard the commotion and shot the suspect when the attacker pointed his weapon at him. “Military people around here, they’re gonna have guns,” said property manager Donna Quiles. “You can’t just go knock on a door and expect not to be met with a gun when you know that the military live here. And I support anybody who carries a gun to protect themselves.” The shooting is being investigated as a homicide. It’s not yet known whether any charges will be filed.
