Comedy Corner: High Blood Pressure Joke

A Man went to the doctor for my yearly checkup,as he was examining me he commented on my pale complexion. “I know” the patient said “It’s my high blood pressure, it’s in the family. “Your mom’s side, or dad’s side?” questioned the doctor. Neither, my wife’s. “What?” the doctor said “that can’t be, how can you get it from your wife’s family?” “Oh yeah, , why don’t you come meet  them sometime!” Moses in the Desert Sunday school teacher asked the class,  Why did Moses wander in the desert for 40 years? Little Johnny replied, Cause he was too stubborn to stop and ask for directions. Listener Feedback: Erick M Subject: Question Message Body: Hey guys I hope you are all doing great. I had a question for troy. Has he found any night sights for the glock 30S?. Will the 36 night sights be a good fit? I was finally able to find one the other day and had to buy it. Keep up the good work

From: Brandon J D. My Situation Hey guys figured I might give you an update on my situation. My last day at the job we talked about previously is tomorrow and I am going to take on a position in corrections at the county sheriffs department. I hope one day to move up to patrol but we will see if God has that in store for me. Also listening to the past few shows I am thinking more and more about getting my C&C permit but first I want to find a 45 that fits me. I have listened to you guys talk down on High Points a lot but I have to admit I purchased a 9mm for my wife for our anniversary and she loves it. The selling point for me was the made in the USA as well as the glowing reviews of their customer service. She was just wanting something to shoot in her spare time and at the price point this kinda fit the bill. As for me I stepped away from guns for a bit and bought a Barnett crossbow which I have loved! As I said before I am going to start looking for a good EDC 45. As far as wish list the new Apex looks like an interesting platform but I would have to find someone that owns it to out some rounds through it. Lastly I wanted to thank you guys for all your help in my time of need and keep up the great work, your show is a blessing! Your Brother in Christ, Brandon D.

James G. Subj: No Gun No Money Hi Doug, On a recent episode of the podcast, you mentioned the no guns no money card.  It was not clear to me if you knew where to get them.  I cam across them a few weeks ago, and made some up for my personal use.  I am sending you the file that I printed them from. The file worked just fine for me. I print my own business cards, so I already had the correct card stock.  I purchase at Staples business card stock, with 10 cards per page, 2 across and 5 high.  It works great, and I can give them out anywhere I see a "No Guns Allowed" sign at a business.  Hope it works well for you. Great job on the podcast.  And stay away from them snakes! Jim

Weekly Bible Verses And when a great crowd was gathering and people from town after town came to him, he said in a parable,  “A sower went out to sow his seed. And as he sowed, some fell along the path and was trampled underfoot, and the birds of the air devoured it. And some fell on the rock, and as it grew up,  it withered away, because it had no moisture. And some fell among  thorns, and the thorns grew up with it and choked it. And some fell into good soil and grew and yielded  a hundredfold.”  As he said these things, he called out,  “He who has ears to hear, let him hear.” Luke 8:4-8 (ESV) Main Topic: Black Man with a Gun, Reloaded by Rev. Donut shop thief shot, The Las Vegas Sun, Las Vegas, Nev. 05/15/14, KVVU, Las Vegas, Nev. 05/16/14

An armed man wearing a bandana entered the Donut Hut in Las Vegas, Nev. and attempted to rob the store and the customers inside. The store’s owner, Sothy Seang, got into an altercation with the criminal, during which he directed his girlfriend to retrieve a gun. The girlfriend complied, and as the robber tried to wrest control of the gun, a shot was fired, striking the thief and causing him to flee. The thief was later captured by police when he sought treatment for his wound. Seang purchased a firearm for his business following an earlier robbery. The criminal’s choice of target was a poor one; in the 1970s Seang fought the Viet Cong while serving with the Cambodian army.
