Listener Email: From: Jared Davis Subject: feedback Message Body:
Hello, I very much enjoy listening to your podcast. Keep up the good work. I would like to offer one bit of feedback. If you could adjust the volume of the intro/outro music and especially the high pitched guitar riff in the middle down a bit I would appreciate it. When I have the volume adjusted where I can understand what you are saying the music is uncomfortably loud, and I'm half deaf from years of shooting and being around machinery.:) The volume of the voice portions of your podcasts seem in line with the others I listen to. Just the music comes through very loud, especially the riff because it hits you without warning.
Again, keep up the good work. Thanks for putting out the great lessons and content.
From: Jon McGowan Subject: Shooting and Outdoor Convention Message Body:
I wanted to get you guys some information about the Shooting and Outdoor Convention, a new shooting industry trade show we will be hosting this July 30 - August 2 in Jacksonville, FL. What we are creating is an annual firearms, shooting, outdoors, and hunting trade show for the Southeast. What also makes it unique is that we will have both industry only days and be open to the public. Thursday is our “industry only” day, Friday – Sunday will be open to the public so you can interact directly with the manufacturers. Over the four day convention we are expecting around 40,000 people to attend. We are committed to making this a top tier event for the firearms industry and are working with community leaders, the City of Jacksonville, the Jacksonville Regional Chamber of Commerce, and other local organizations to make sure this event is something the City, the State, and the industry can be proud of. At the beginning of next year we will unveil the speaker for the welcome dinner. Our website is shootingandoutdoors.com
Troy and Doug,
Thank you for the God and Guns podcast. I found the show at the beginning of the year and started listening at the beginning until I caught up. I enjoy the mix of topics that you present. So far, my all time favorite show was episode 028, the interview with Wes Carlile and his experience as a Military Chaplain's Assistant.
Please keep up the good work. Don't hesitate to share any prayer requests.
In Christ, Ken

Bible Verses The Birth of Jesus Christ In those days a decree went out from Caesar Augustus that all the world should be registered. This was the first registration when Quirinius was governor of Syria. And all went to be registered, each to his own town. And Joseph also went up from Galilee, from the town of Nazareth, to Judea, to the city of David, which is called Bethlehem, because he was of the house and lineage of David, to be registered with Mary, his betrothed, who was with child. And while they were there, the time came for her to give birth. And she gave birth to her firstborn son and wrapped him in swaddling cloths and laid him in a manger, because there was no place for them in the inn. Luke 2:1-7 (ESV)
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through him, and without him was not any thing made that was made. In him was life, and the life was the light of men. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it. John 1:1-5 (ESV)

NRA Armed Citizen Veteran's .45 frightens off thieves, The Gaston Gazette, Gaston County, N.C. 12/05/14
Sixty-eight-year-old disabled veteran Joseph Sapienza was at home in Gastonia, N.C. when he heard a suspicious noise at his front door. Sapienza retrieved a .45-caliber pistol, placed it in a holster attached to a walker he uses to get around, and opened the door. There were two masked men on his porch attempting to get inside. Recalling what happened next, Sapienza told a reporter, “When they saw the .45, one ran one way up the street, and the other went the other way.”
Sapienza believes he may have been targeted by the criminals because of his disability. (The Gaston Gazette, Gaston County, N.C. 12/05/14)
