Comedy Corner: Bedside Manners Susie's husband had been slipping in and out of a coma for several months. Things looked grim, but she was by his bedside every single day. One day as he slipped back into consciousness, he motioned for her to come close to him. She pulled the chair close to the bed and leaned her ear close to be able to hear him.

"You know" he whispered, his eyes filling with tears, "you have been with me through all the bad times. When I got fired, you stuck right beside me. When my business went under, there you were. When we lost the house, you were there. When I got shot, you stuck with me. When my health started failing, you were still by my side. "And you know what?"

"What, dear?" she asked gently, smiling to herself. "I think you're bad luck."

How are Men and Women Different: Money A man will pay $10 for a $5 item he needs. A woman will pay $5 for a $10 item that she doesn't need, because it's on sale.

Bathrooms A man has five items in his bathroom: a toothbrush, razor, shaving cream, a bar of soap, and a towel from the Motel 6.

The average number of items in a woman's bathroom is 328. The average man would not be able to identify most of them.

Why Men Are Happier

  • Men can play with toys all their life.
  • Men can wear shorts no matter what their legs look like.
  • Men have one wallet and one pair of shoes which are good for every season.
  • Men can choose whether or not to grow a mustache.
  • Men can "do" their fingernails with a pocket knife.
  • Men's bellies usually hide their large hips.
  • Chocolate is just another snack.
  • The whole garage belongs to them.
  • Weddings take care of themselves.
  • Men's last name never changes.
  • Everything on a man's face stays its original color.
  • Men only have to shave their faces and necks.
  • Men can keep the same hairstyle for years, even decades.
  • Men can do their Christmas shopping for 25 relatives on Christmas Eve in 25 minutes.
  • For men, wrinkles add character.

iTunes Review 1 Star by Kilton05 Aug 13, 2015 Hypocritical, Blasphemous and Boring God and guns?!!!! Any true Christian that follows Jesus teachings would never make a connection between firearms and the Father. Jesus taught love and forgiveness, turn the other cheek, not shoot first ask questions later. The time you spend on guns and politics dwarfs the time you dedicate to God. Making evident what’s in your heart. (We Googled and found a show that Kilton05 likes The Skepticrat an Atheist left wing show) So I think he’s a troll.

Obama supporters like guns to! 5 star by ron4sc, Aug 03, 2015 I love the praise and worship of our Lord on this podcast. The show is funny and informative and never strays away from a biblical interpretation of current events. I will give it five stars but I was going to give it four because every show has a comment implying our president is trying to send the black helicopters to take our guns. He may be on the wrong side of gun control, but it's no different that millions of people, like me, who grew up in an urban environment. The show would be better if you spent more time discussing the bible and less time discussing divisive Washington politics. Love the show otherwise and keep the jokes coming to. I’ve told several to the family at the dinner table.

Bible Verse 23 Now before faith came, we were held captive under the law, imprisoned until the coming faith would be revealed.24 So then, the law was our guardian until Christ came, in order that we might be justified by faith. 25 But now that faith has come, we are no longer under a guardian, 26 for in Christ Jesus you are all sons of God, through faith. 27 For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ. 28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is no male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus. 29 And if you are Christ’s, then you are Abraham’s offspring, heirs according to promise. Gal 3:23-29 (ESV)

NRA Armed Citizen Armed Citizen in TX Stops Shooting Spree and Saves Cop by Making 50+ Yard Shot With a Pistol

This is a pretty amazing story. An armed private citizen assisted a police officer who was pinned down by the gunfire of a madman who had just killed 3 people and could have killed many more. Amazingly the concerned citizen, Vic Stacy, did so by taking a shot of 50+ yards using only a pistol.

The caliber and gun are unknown, but Stacy mentions a “magnum bullet” which could mean a .357 or .44. Stacy landed multiple shots on the shooter and this allowed the police officer to also land shots with his AR-15 while the suspect was distracted.

According to,

Stacy raised his gun, fired, and landed one heck of a shot – by his estimate “a good 165 yards” – with a pistol (we do not know the make or caliber at this time). Stacy wasn’t even sure if he could make the shot at that distance: “I hope this magnum bullet’ll hold up, you know, this distance. And sure enough it did and I hit him in the thigh.”

At that point, Conner returned fire against Stacy with his AR-15. He missed his shot, luckily, but that gave dead-eye Stacy another opportunity to pull the trigger. Stacy “hit him again and put three more in him … The patrolman got two shots in him with that AR-15. And it seems like he’s all over with, then.”

Conner died on the scene, but if it wasn’t for the aid of Vic Stacy, the body count might have been a lot higher.

According to follow up reports, the distance was corrected to around 50 yards. Support God and Guns by the following:

Comedy Corner:

Hunting Trip

A young man from the city went to visit his farmer uncle. For the first few days, the uncle showed him the usual things - chickens, cows, crops, etc. After three days, however, it was obvious that the nephew was getting bored, and the uncle was running out of things to amuse him with.

Finally, the uncle decided to give them a real treat. "Why don't you grab a gun, take my prized hunting dogs, and go have some fun shooting?" This seemed to cheer the nephew up, and with enthusiasm, off he went, dogs in trail.

After a few hours, the nephew returned.

"How did you enjoy that?" asked the uncle.

"It was great!" exclaimed the nephew. "Got any more dogs?"

Holy Dog

An avid duck hunter was in the market for a new bird dog. His search ended when he found a dog that could actually walk on water to retrieve a duck. Shocked by his find, he was sure none of his friends would ever believe him. He decided to try to break the news to a friend of his, the eternal pessimist who refused to be impressed with anything. This, surely, would impress him.

He invited him to hunt with him and his new dog. As they waited by the shore, a flock of ducks flew by. they fired, and a duck fell. The dog responded and jumped into the water. The dog, however, did not sink but instead walked across the water to retrieve the bird, never getting more than his paws wet. This continued all day long; each time a duck fell, the dog walked across the surface of the water to retrieve it. The pessimist watched carefully, saw everything, but did not say a single word.

On the drive home the hunter asked his friend, "Did you notice anything unusual about my new dog?" "I sure did," responded the pessimist. "He can’t swim!"

Whats the difference between a hunter and a fisherman? A hunter lies in wait. A fisherman waits and lies.

iTunes Review: Stout69 (USA) Refreshing Rating: 5 Stars I found your show while I was searching for info on an AR build and I really love it. Awesome work guys. Thank you and God bless. Weekly Bible Verse

Shepherd the Flock of God 1 Peter 5:1-11 (ESV) So I exhort the elders among you, as a fellow elder and a witness of the sufferings of Christ, as well as a partaker in the glory that is going to be revealed: shepherd the flock of God that is among you, exercising oversight, not under compulsion, but willingly, as God would have you; not for shameful gain, but eagerly; not domineering over those in your charge, but being examples to the flock. And when the chief Shepherd appears, you will receive the unfading crown of glory. Likewise, you who are younger, be subject to the elders. Clothe yourselves, all of you, with humility toward one another, for “God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble.” Humble yourselves, therefore, under the mighty hand of God so that at the proper time he may exalt you, casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you. Be sober-minded; be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour.  Resist him, firm in your faith, knowing that the same kinds of suffering are being experienced by your brotherhood throughout the world. And after you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace, who has called you to his eternal glory in Christ, will himself restore, confirm, strengthen, and establish you. To him be the dominion forever and ever. Amen.

NRA Armed Citizen

SPOKANE, Wash. -After the third robbery in a month Sunday night, the owner of Spokane's Jitterz Java on Northwest Boulevard has had enough and says the next person to try may end up face to face with a gun.

Sara Chapel says some of her employees are already bringing their own guns to work, no matter what shift they are working. But after Sunday, they were will always be a gun at the coffee stand.

In the most recent burglary, a man aggressively tried to open a window at the stand and appeared to have a gun. The barista kept the window locked, grabbed her gun and called police. The man took off before police arrived.

"It is just a little aggravating, you know, people are just out for themselves these days," said Chapel. "It's just sad to put other people in harms way to just get a few hundred dollars."

Police say the suspect is described as a white man in his 30's, around 5' 10" with a medium build, dark hair and a goatee.
