Hey Doug and Troy! First off, I’m prayin healing for your family Doug. I’ve got a gun question. I know Doug is a big bird hunter and I’ve got an opportunity to go dive hunting with my friends family in September. I know you love your Benelli, but that’s a bit out of my budget for a shotgun. I’ve been seeing the Stoger M3500. Some same internals as a Benelli but at a more cost friendly range. I might try and do some duck in the future but dove first for sure. Thanks for your time and have a blessed day you guys!
There once was a man and a woman who had been married for more than 60 years. They talked about everything. They kept no secrets from each other... except that the old woman had a shoe box in the top of her closet that she cautioned her husband never to open it or ask her about it.
For all these years he had never thought about the box, but one day the little old woman got very sick and the doctor said she would never recover.
In trying to sort out their affairs the little old man took down the shoe box and took it to his wife's bedside. She agreed it was time that he should know what was in the box.
When he opened it he found 2 beautifully crocheted doilies and a stack of money totaling over $25,000. He asked her about the unusual contents.
"When we were married," she said, " my grandmother told me the secret of a happy marriage was to never argue. She told me that if I ever got angry with you, I should just keep quiet and crochet a doily."
The little old man was so moved, he had to fight back tears. Only two precious doilies were in the box. She had only been angry with him two times in all those years of living and loving. He almost burst with joy and happiness.
"Sweetheart," he said... "that explains the doilies, but what about all this money? Where did it all come from?"
Oh," she said, " that's the money I made from selling the doilies."
10 Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might. 11 Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil. 12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places. 13 Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand firm. 14 Stand therefore, having fastened on the belt of truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, 15 and, as shoes for your feet, having put on the readiness given by the gospel of peace. 16In all circumstances take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming darts of the evil one; 17 and take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God, 18 praying at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication. To that end, keep alert with all perseverance, making supplication for all the saints, 19 and also for me, that words may be given to me in opening my mouth boldly to proclaim the mystery of the gospel, 20 for which I am an ambassador in chains, that I may declare it boldly, as I ought to speak.

Homeowner Shoots Thug Six Times!
Louisville, Kentucky – Donald Oliver, 38, broke into a home and made a bee line for a 12-year-old girl’s bedroom wearing only his underwear.
Oliver walked into the kitchen of the house, and encountered the homeowner where he was told to get out. Oliver and the homeowner began to fight, and the homeowner was overpowered by the size of the thug.
According to the police report, “due to the suspect’s size, he began to overtake the homeowner injuring his hand.”
The homeowner then yelled for his girlfriend who brought his handgun and gave it to him.
He then shot the thug six times which caused him to run away.
In an interview with the homeowner, he said, ” I told him to get out, and he didn’t want to move, and he growled at me. He growled. So he ended up getting six shots. Period”.
It was later found out that the thug had a small bag of heroin, which could mean he was hyped up on drugs.
The thug was arrested and submitted into the local hospital with non-fatal injuries.
He’s charged with burglary, assault resulting in minor injury, and possession of a controlled substance .
Firearms are the great equalizer. Period.
For someone who is smaller or weaker, a gun is a great tool that can be used to protect oneself for a bigger individual.
There are countless of stories where a firearm was used to stop someone who was much bigger than them. This is just one of those stories.
