Chuck Norris actually built the stairway to heaven.

Scientists believe the world began with the "Big Bang". Chuck Norris shrugs it off as a "bad case of gas".

The Pheasant Hunting Surprise Saturday morning I got up early, dressed quietly, made my lunch, grabbed the dog, slipped quietly into the garage to load my pheasant hunting gear into the truck, and proceeded to back out into a torrential down pour.

The wind was blowing 50 mph. I pulled back into the garage, turned on the radio, and discovered that the weather would be bad throughout the day.

I went back into the house, quietly undressed, and slipped back into bed.  There I cuddled up to my wife's back, now with a different anticipation, and whispered, 'The weather out there is terrible.'

My loving wife of 20 yrs replied, 'Can you believe my stupid husband is out pheasant hunting in that crap?'

I still don't know to this day if she was joking, but I have stopped hunting.

Troy and Doug,

What an amazing show!! I listen to it with my son who is 16 years old. We both enjoy it a lot.

He really enjoys the comedy corner and the Bible teaching. I like the fact it's family friendly and I don't worry about what's going to be said. Yeah, he's sixteen and all but it's great for him hear guys talk that aren't cursing every other word. I prefer it that way as well.

Troy, if you are going to be teaching anymore CCDW classes I'd enjoy taking it. I'm a fellow Kentuckian. Just email me a class schedule and if I can make it I'll let you know.

Thanks guys. Keep up the great work and God Bless,

Bill Donovan

Bible Verse We are called to live by faith in Jesus Christ but we are told to defend with sword as Jesus said: “When I sent you out with no moneybag or knapsack or sandals, did you lack anything?” They said, “Nothing.” He said to them, “But now let the one who has a moneybag take it, and likewise a knapsack. And let the one who has no sword sell his cloak and buy one. For I tell you that this Scripture must be fulfilled in me: ‘And he was numbered with the transgressors.’ For what is written about me has its fulfillment.” And they said, “Look, Lord, here are two swords.” And he said to them, “It is enough.” Luke 22:35-38 (ESV)

We do not use weapons to attack, but to defend. The gospel is about faith and not force like the Muslims do. We are called to have our faith in Christ alone. To answer the quote you gave The verse in its entirety and context says “Then Jesus said to him, “Put your sword back into its place. For all who take the sword will perish by the sword. Do you think that I cannot appeal to my Father, and he will at once send me more than twelve legions of angels? But how then should the Scriptures be fulfilled, that it must be so?” Matthew 26:52-54 ESV

What Jesus was saying is that he should not use his sword in this instance because he had to fulfill the prophecy scripture and if they fought it out with swords that could not happen. He had just been praying that this would not happen, but It was God's plan that he be betrayed and die for us as foretold in scripture. Secondly the apostle had the sword with him because earlier (see verses above) Jesus had to him told them to bring swords for protection of themselves not Jesus as he knew he would be martyred. Jesus had not told the apostle to throw away the sword, he told him to put it back in its sheath.

NRA Armed Citizen Teen uses father's rifle to protect siblings from home invaders, KSNV, Las Vegas, Nev. 08/21/15 A 14-year-old was at home with his younger siblings when a pair of home invaders entered the house. The 14-year-old responded by rounding up his siblings and moving to a closet, where he armed himself with his father’s rifle. When one of the criminals discovered the armed teen, he fled along with his accomplice.

Discussing the incident with a local media outlet, the protective brother noted that his father had taught him what to do in just such a scenario, stating, “He taught me what to do. I had a rifle I had a cell phone, called 911. I was just prepared for it.” (KSNV, Las Vegas, Nev. 08/21/15)
