Listener Email: Troy,
I recently listened to episode 85 (?) where you talked about your travels to Florida and purchasing .22LR from Walmart and I had to chuckle. You see, that same weekend my wife (who is retired Airforce) and I traveled on a camping trip to Chattanooga, TN from Charleston, SC. We traveled through 3 state for 6 1/2 hours and the first thing she wanted to do was go to Walmart. I needed to pick up a few item in the sporting goods section and the lady just happened to be behind the counter. I asked her if she had any .22LR bullets and she replied, “Yes, how many would you like?” And of course my response was “How many do you got!”. About that time another guy came up with an older gentlemen and overheard our conversation (I’m guessing so they could get some too). The representative behind the counter said that she had plenty but could only sell 2 boxes at the time to any one person. I politely said to her that I will take the 2 boxes and then called the wife over so that she could buy 2 more boxes. When I handed my wife the money for her 2 boxes (and with a straight face) she says “what do I need this for? Are .22LR bullets really that hard to get?” Myself, the Walmart representative and the 2 gentlemen all busted out laughing. I could only say “Yes dear, they are.”.
Love the show! You Friend in Christ, Steven A. Campbell
From: Brad Subject: Browning Citori
My vote for the over/under model that comes to mind first is hands down the Browning Citori!!!
I have on my wish list a Browning Citori White Lightning. There are a few more practical guns much higher on the list, but I can still wish for it, right?
My granddad was a founding member of a local gun club and shot trap at nationals year's before I was born. My Uncle has his Browning Trap gun and my dad has his Browning 16 gauge semi auto that is beautiful! I never got to meet my grandfather but he had multiple Browning's, so I guess that's why I'm biased.
Thanks for an awesome show and bringing back some fond memories!

Bible Verses When Joseph’s brothers saw that their father was dead, they said, “It may be that Joseph will hate us and pay us back for all the evil that we did to him.” So they sent a message to Joseph, saying, “Your father gave this command before he died: ‘Say to Joseph, “Please forgive the transgression of your brothers and their sin, because they did evil to you.”’ And now, please forgive the transgression of the servants of the God of your father.” Joseph wept when they spoke to him. His brothers also came and fell down before him and said, “Behold, we are your servants.” But Joseph said to them, “Do not fear, for am I in the place of God? As for you, you meant evil against me, but God meant it for good, to bring it about that many people should be kept alive, as they are today. So do not fear; I will provide for you and your little ones.” Thus he comforted them and spoke kindly to them..Genesis 50: 15-21 (ESV)
