-Seth says: “Your lifestyle episode hit very close to home. It is something i have been struggling with for several years. It has been hurting my marriage and my relationship with god. The episode helped me a lot. Thank you so much for what you guys are doing. I am now a loyal listener.

-Art says: “Hi Guys,

I’m 65 years old and been a Christian for awhile, but just recently got interested in guns. Did not have guns in my youth, never hunted, and was even anti NRA for awhile. In 2008 I decided I might be better off with something for personal defense. Since then I have changed my mind about guns joined the NRA for the last five years and have become a gun enthusiast. I really like your podcast because it comes from a Christian Perspective. Remind everybody that we should go to safety classes and get training, especially us newbie’s. My wife and I took the NRA handgun safety class together and I’ve been to a couple of other training sessions at the local range we joined. The last podcast about turkeys was very informative. I’ve been thinking of going out for my first hunting trip for turkey (maybe next year) so this was right on time. Thanks again for a job well done.

My list of wants is too long to mention. Please put me on your list for the drawing.

Thanks, May God Bless You,”

Weekly Bible Verse:

Tom M. suggested to use: 1 Timothy 1 8-10 NIV: “We know that the law is good if one uses it properly. 9 We also know that the law is made not for the righteous but for lawbreakers and rebels, the ungodly and sinful, the unholy and irreligious, for those who kill their fathers or mothers, for murderers, 10 for the sexually immoral, for those practicing homosexuality, for slave traders and liars and perjurers—and for whatever else is contrary to the sound doctrine 11 that conforms to the gospel concerning the glory of the blessed God, which he entrusted to me.

- Boyd was speaking about Jeanne Assam, a former sworn Minneapolis police officer who was acting as security that day. She wounded the 24-year-old gunman, Matthew J. Murray, before he took his life.
