Listening to several of your podcasts I've noticed you mention your own personal weight gain and how you make selective changes to combat that. Do you think you should also be looking at what you are actually gaining? Is it fat? Muscle? Water? A combination? Just some food for thought. No pun intended. Stay healthy :)
Andrew: Thank you so much for listening to the show! I appreciate the kind words and for taking time to write us. Your question about what I'm gaining is a GREAT one. I certainly should be considering that every pound gained or lost is not necessarily a pound of fat. I am pretty aware of when I gain water. I also know that muscle weighs more than fat so you make a great point about the scale being misleading sometimes. *Unfortunately* I had not done much strength training in a while so it was a good bet that I wasn't putting on muscle. Good news though! I have started strength training again so I am just going to forget that scale for a while and use other measures. Your email spurs me on to keep this up! Thanks Andrew!
