cmctriggersSomeone decided they wanted to be the first to own our @cmctriggers SILVER GLOCK BARREL and take it home from @shotshow. Funny thing is, there’s only 1 and it wasn’t for sale! Help us spread the word! We’d love to see it back in our mailbox at the Shop. Be decent and return it, we know it was an ‘accident’. You can’t even show it off to your friends 🤷🏻‍♀️#runcmc #runcmctriggers #cmcbarrels #stickyfingers #shotshow #glockbarrels #pleasesenditback

The Lower Receiver Assembly

  • The Receiver
  • Not much to be done to begin
  • The Lower Receiver Parts
  • start with the mag release
  • bolt catch is next in the install
  • protect your receiver when installing roll pins
  • Pivot pin is my next priority
  • I install my trigger before the safety selector
  • install the grip to retain the safety selector
  • the Takedown pin is held in place by a spring and detent, I usually install the Takedown pin last unless the spring is captured by the grip (which depends on which receiver you get)
  • install the hammer next followed by
  • Receiver Extension Tube
  • advance the castle nut up the tube as far as it will go
  • work the endplate as close to the castle nut as it will go
  • remove the Takedown pin detent spring
  • thread the tube into the receiver until just before the lip catches the buffer retainer
  • depress the buffer retainer and advance the tube enough to reveal the milled detent hole in the receiver
  • install the Takedown pin detent spring
  • rotate the tube back in line with the receiver
  • work the endplate as close to the receiver as possible without kinking the Takedown pin detent spring
  • tighten the castle nut to its final position
  • Buffer and Buffer Spring
  • work the spring and buffer into the receiver extension tube

Feedback:

Mike:  Guys - Great show as usual. Thanks for revisiting the AR build. Really enjoyed this episode.  Really been thinking about a 264 LBC build, but not sure when it may happen. Any coverage of muzzle breaks and or suppressors would interest me for show topics. I know it's revisit for muzzle breaks.

jscanter:  I really think that you are going to like your Daniel Defense butt stock. I bought one for my build and think it's great.

Joe C:   Hey guys, always a great show. I have semi-finished my build up to the optics and can read all about them, but until I can see them in a store they'll have to wait. You always ask for a list of the build so here goes.

Mega Arms Maten billet upper/lower set w/ mkm extended rifle length (15") hand rail; Daniel defense buttstock; JP silent captured spring; AXTS raptor charging handle; Lord Arms BCG w/ CX6 finish; Geiselle SSA-E trigger; Magpul MOE+ grip; Noveske end plate w/QD attachment

BAD-CASS safety; Rainier Arms extended mag release; Diamond Head front and rear sights; Rainier Arms 18" barrel; Battle Comp BABC compensator; Odin Works handstop; and a Savvy Sniper Cobra QUAD X Sling

Tried very hard to make sure everything I bought was made in the USA. Thanks a lot guys, I'll send you some Instagram pics and let you know how it works.

Feedback:

Kyle:  I tried to zero out the AR this weekend. Apparently it shoots to the left as I had to adjust the rear sight to the right. Is this common? Should I try to adjust the front sight post or is it not worth the hassle? Currently using an f marked front  sight and A2 style rear detachable carry handle. I would appreciate any information you have available.

Shawn, St. Louis:  Hey guys, love listening to the ar15 podcast during my free time.  For me the best part of your show is having real industry speakers on your show vs guys that just like to shoot. It really helps me narrow down the best products for the ar15. You do an excellent job of asking a good informative questions when interviewing.  Keep up the good work.

DW Taylor:  A few weeks back I had asked about the 6.5 Grendel. Since then, I have discovered your search engine. Using that I found the old podcasts that went into detail on the 6.5 caliber. Thanks for being proactive and having those in the library for me to review. I am slowly working my way through the backlog of older podcasts. I would prefer to do this on Stitcher, but they don’t go back too far. I use my PC for the earlier ones.

My first AR15 is the S&W MP15 Sport. I let some friends give it a try as I was working on my handgun skills. They burned through 9, 30 round magazines in about 20 minutes. How hot will a barrel get after this much rapid fire? What will this do the barrel? Can the barrel handle this rate of fire, or will it wear, loose strength, accuracy, etc. It isn’t a match-grade barrel, so I am not as concerned with sub-MOA groupings, but just an overall understanding of what a black rifle can be expected to take.  After all, we own them so we can shoot them, right?

Hello feedback!!! My name is Evgeniya, to me of 25 years. I live in Russia.  I saw your your profile and you interested me very much!

I want to find the man of my dream.  I would like to get acquainted with the person who might appreciate my care, tenderness and love. I want, that you would be responsible, capable to give a hand of the help and to sympathize with me in any problems.  If you agree with me write to me, I shall be glad. I shall answer you soon. In my turn I shall try be the offer, loving, devoted, responsible woman.  If you decide to write to me, I wait for your answer very much !!!

@dylan.h.cave: Wishing my range wasn’t closed on Mondays.
