Main Topic - Non-Profits at SHOT 2015

Brian Gliba w/ Zeus @ Freedom Hunters

Freedom Hunters is a Military Outreach program dedicated to honoring those who protect our Freedoms. Our mission is to salute the noble work of our courageous men and women of our Armed Forces.  Freedom Hunters reflects the outdoor community's appreciation to our troops by taking: select active duty and combat veterans, families of fallen heroes, children of the deployed, as well as those wounded or injured, on outdoor adventures. Freedom Hunters mission is empowered by the generous support of many: sportsmen, conservation groups, state agencies, outfitters, corporations, and landowners.

Dave Agata @ AmericanSnipers.org

AmericanSnipers.org has supported snipers and designated marksmen in over 1100 different PLATOONS of the United States military and has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars in funds and gear for US snipers in all branches of the armed forces. The program has received positive mention in major newspapers in the US and abroad, on several national television news networks and on countless radio broadcasts and internet blog sites. The National Defense Industrial Association awarded AmericanSnipers.org the Carlos N. Hathcock II Award for 2007. To our knowledge, we are THE ONLY non-profit organization actively helping to kill our enemies by proxy.

Debbie Lee @ America’s Mighty Warriors

Debbie Lee has been a leading spokesperson for the missions of U.S. troops fighting in the war on terrorism and for their families and families of the fallen. She founded a non-profit, America’s Mighty Warriors in response to her son’s last letter home.

Her son, Marc Alan Lee, was the first Navy SEAL to lose his life in Operation Iraqi Freedom. Marc, 28, was killed August 2, 2006 in a fierce firefight while on patrol against insurgents in Ramadi, Iraq.

Debbie Lee has toured the nation, speaking at pro-troop rallies, and helping to organize shipments of care packages to our troops serving overseas. She also made history as the first Gold Star Mother to enter the combat zone and visit the city where her son died. She spent Christmas 07 with the troops in Iraq thanking them and personally handed out 10,000 of the 226,000 Christmas cards collected on the ‘Honoring Heroes at the Holidays’ National Tour. Christmas 08 was spent with the troops in Guantanamo thanking them and sharing gifts and cards with them.

Her tireless love and support for our troops is reflected in the years of full-time volunteering as she stands behind those who have stood to defend her.

I have a Adams Arms AA15 Rifle that is gas piston. What cleaning kit do you recommend that will completely clean my rifle? I'm a newbie to the AR15 platform and I'm learning how to care for and operate this type of rifle. Can you do a show on the Adams Arms AA15 rifles? Please enter me in your Otis give away.

Tom Gonzalez - Slip 2000 Carbon Killer works well for me.

Reed I'm waiting on my new upper! I bought a PSA 7.62x39 upper due this afternoon. Mags due in tomorrow. Any advice on this AR47 build? I'm anxious to get to the range and play. I'll have to take my Sig Sauer MPX-P with me, form one pending for SBR.

Reed - Feeding issues seem to be the biggest problems that plague the 7.62x39 chambering in an AR-15. These issues have been resolved in those lowers that are configured to use AK magazines. If your lower has the normal straight wall mag-well construction we are used to, you may have to try a variety of magazines to discover which one provides you with the most reliability
