Richard Jensen: Hi, Jake - saw this on the Gunmart Blog.
Not sure how the ATF can claim the CNC machine has to be owned by an FFL (manufacturing) to do the machining. Opinions?
Josh from Dallas: Reed, I was considering a stainless 24\" .17hmr upper as a far future purchase, but I'm concerned about what you said about .17 hmr and semi-auto platforms. I could do without the AR, but was seriously considering trying to get Kel-Tec to make, or send me a .17hmr conversion kit (barrel, spring?) for a PMR 30. I think this would be a super cool pistol. The .22 mag is semi-appealing, but the hot little .17 would be really cool if it functioned on the same platform. What issues have you heard of concerning the .17 and semi-autos? Don't crush my dreams man. I really wanted that pistol design to work. I just email Kel-Tec yesterday.
