Week in Review:

Ryan: -Volquartsen in .22 Magnum!!!

-Ruger 22/45 Lite Mark IV

-STI 10MM Doublestack

Weerd:   Went to the range and zeroed a rifle.    Lots of people there of all ages.

Drink Segment:  Drinking a Vesper Cocktail right now, but we’ve talked about that before.

Listener Manuel wanted for me to talk about my other favorite drink: Tea

When I’m on the road, or out to a restaurant,  I drink coffee,  but when I can do it properly I prefer my caffeine to come as tea.

As far as I know there are no domestic tea plantations,  so you’re better off buying from India and China where the plantations  are.

Tea is all essentially the same plant,  just prepared different ways.  Black tea is fermented,  green tea is just blanched and dried.  Several other varieties are partially fermented.

Some of my favorites are Red Label Black Tea from India,  Jasmine and Gunpowder from China, and Sencha and Genmai Cha from Japan.

I simply fill a saucepan with cold water, add a tablespoon or so of loose tea to it, and let it come to a boil,  then turn the heat off and let it sit for about 10 mins or more to steep before straining.
